Founded in 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts by Ukrainian Nathan Schwartz, The Timberlands Boot Company has 100 years of experience in manufacturing quality winter and casual leather footwear. The Timberland as we know it was not built until 1965, where the Schwartz family introduced the innovative injection-moulding technology into the footwear industry. This process enabled the production of waterproof boots for both cold and warm temperature wear; connecting the soles to the leather uppers without the need for stitching.
